Maen Dewi cottages are situated on an organic smallholding, a mile from St Davids in Rhodiad-y-Brenin. The farm adjoins the Dowrog Pools Nature Reserve, which is owned and managed by the National Trust. The farm produces organic free-range eggs and there is a small herd of Welsh Black cattle, which graze the Dowrog.

There are three cottages, Yr Hendy, Bwthyn Dowrog and Ty Beudy. Each cottage has full central heating and are furnished sympathetically using country oak furniture. Cots and high chairs are available when required. There is plenty of parking space at each cottage and undercover space available for bikes and boats.

Yr Hendy is the original farmhouse at Maen Dewi and has recently been completely renovated to the highest standard, providing comfortable and spacious accommodation for 4-5 guests.

The house has uninterrupted views over the Dowrog Pools Nature Reserve and comprises:

  • A kitchen with oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave.

  • A living room and dining area with an open beamed ceiling and wood burning stove, television with DVD player and stereo surround sound.

  • The master bedroom has a king size bed and direct views over the Dowrog reserve. There is also an en-suite shower room with walk in shower.

  • The second bedroom has twin beds and en-suite shower room.

There is an enclosed patio area outside the cottage with a barbecue and garden furniture. Guests also have access to a children’s play area with trampoline and climbing frame (under adult supervision).
